Meet The Owner

John Thompson is the founder of Anew Brand Cooling LLC, a family owned and operated HVAC service and repair company serving Mohave County and the surrounding area.

In 2011 John received his Certificate of Proficiency in Residential HVAC and Commercial Refrigeration from Mohave Community College.

John earned his on the job training from one of the largest heating & A/C companies in Mohave County. While earning his 10 years of experience in heating and cooling repairs, John decided to branch off and get his contractors license.

John received his contractors license from The State of Arizona Registrar of Contractors. This allowed John and his wife, Lauren, to open Anew Brand Cooling LLC.

Their vision and purpose for opening Anew Brand Cooling LLC is to offer quality cooling and heating services and ac installation to their customers without breaking the bank. They pride themselves in putting their customers first, offering the lowest rates possible, giving discounts where applicable, and still maintaining the integrity and quality of work performed.

John and his wife thank God everyday for the blessing of being able to open Anew Brand Cooling LLC. With this being a family business, they hope to one day leave the company to their children in hopes they will be all about heating and cooling as well. They also know that they could not get to where they are without their valued customers and their business and support.

His Only Concern Was To Get Me Up and Running

JOHN IS AWESOME!!!! JOHN WAS SENT OUT TO ME BY MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, CHOICE! HE CONTACTED ME ON A SUNDAY NIGHT TO GIVE ME HIS TIME OF ARRIVAL AND THEN ARRIVED EARLIER THEN SCHEDULED! WHICH WAS GREAT BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY APPROACHING 100 DEGREES. JOHN WAS COURTEOUS AND WENT RIGHT TO WORK TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. LONG. STORY SHORT, MY A/C HAD NO FREON AND WAS VERY BADLY RUSTED. HE CONTACTED CHOICE HOME WARRANTY WITH A RECOMMENDATION TO REPLACE DO TO THE. BADLY RUSTED COIL PANEL AND THEY DENIED REPLACEMENT BUT WOULD DO REPAIRS. WELL I HAD BEEN WITHOUT A/C FOR 3DAYS IN THIS HEAT AND JOHN SAID THE PARTS WOULD HAVE TO COME FROM VEGAS AND NO IDEA OF HOW LONG TO GET PARTS AS I WOULD NEED A NEW COIL PANEL!! I WAS NOT WILLING WAIT UP TO A MONTH FOR PARTS! OBVIOUSLY MY WARRANTY COMPANY, CHOICE, DID NOT CARE AS THEY WOULD NOT PAY FOR ANY PART OF A NEW INSTALLATION!! CRAZY. JOHN AND I DISCUSSED MY OPTIONS AND I DECIDED TO GO WITH A NEW. UNIT IF JOHN COULD MAKE THAT HAPPEN FAIRLY QUICK, OH AND I HAD A HOUSE GUEST!! WITHIN 20 MINUTES JOHN HAD A NEW UNIT(YORK) FROM FT.MOHAVE AND A CRANE SCHEDULED FOR THE NEXT MORNING AT 5 A.M.. HE WAS RIGHT ON IT AND HIS ONLY CONCERN WAS TO GET ME UP AND RUNNING . HE ARRIVED AT 4 A.M. THE NEXT DAY AND BY 8:00 HE WAS GONE AND MY HOUSE WAS. ALREADY COOLING. HE WAS AWESOME.!!!. I THINK I GOT A GOOD PRICE CONSIDERING ALL THE. WORK AND EFFORT JOHN PUT INTO GETTING ME UP AND RUNNING. HE NEVER ONCE TRIED TO ADD CHARGES ON AS HE WENT LIKE SOME SVC COMPANIES DO. IT WAS AMAZING AND HE STAYED IN CONTACT WITH ME THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCEDURE!! I DEFINITELY FEEL THAT JOHN EFFORTLESSLY WORKED ON MY BEHALF.

Can Not Beat That Service!!!

John IS a pro! Installed new 5 ton split/unit in my house flawless. Very professional--knows his stuff too. He troubleshot the old system on a Wednesday, had the new units in his truck Friday--installed Monday. Cannot beat that service!!!

I highly recommend Anew Brand Cooling. Very courteous and quick!

Our AC blower motor failed yesterday. I called everyone, and they were either closed or wanted to wait until today to diagnose. The owner of Anew was at my house within 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem, went back to his office and started to find replacement motors. This morning he found a direct replacement and fixed our AC this afternoon. We were only out for a little over 24 hours. Great service!

Very reasonable rates; I totally recommend this service

He came to do spring cleaning on two commercial AC units and was prompt and very courteous, showed a lot of interest in our well being and recommended a small part to be replaced and did so quickly and efficiently. Very reasonable rates and I totally recommend this service.

John is great. My warranty company set me up with an appt. I'm sure glad he's the guy I got. It ended up that we needed a brand new AC unit which of course the warranty company tried to fiddle around and not have to buy it John jump through hoops so that they would finally approve everything so we could get a new air conditioning unit. Then we get the new air conditioner up on the roof and oops it's not working the manufacturer had sent one that was faulty they tried to tell John to just fix it and it would be just like new. . He said no we need a brand new unit and so that's what we got it took a little longer but it was worth it. Makes you wonder how often this sort of thing goes on. He was very reputable and conscientious and very very nice. He kept me in the loop all the time is very professional. I recommend him now if anybody asks me who is a good AC guy around town.

John with anew brand cooling is very professional and exceeds in customer service. We’re new to the area and our daughter’s air condition unit went out in this heat. John was responsive and very thorough and fair in quoting what work was needed and understood my daughters budget. He made the time to put in a new AC unit and was punctual and followed through on exactly what he quoted. John explained the process and then tested all aspects of the work after he was done. The next day I asked if he could do service maintenance on my AC unit. Again, thorough, professional, and high level of customer service. He will definitely be our family AC guy!! Highly recommended!!

I was dealing with my absolutely awful home warrenty company and he was there answering my phone call every time to give me advice and answer questions. We finally settled on getting a whole new unit out of pocket and he was there the very next day! His prices are UNBEATABLE!
